Dr. Milton has devoted decades of his life to understanding the human body and its behavior under the influences of gravity and different types of activities. His knowledge is a good fit for understanding the dynamic needs of people of all ages and walks of life. Especially today’s university students, blending experience of real-world challenges we all face each day with a science-based approach, and utilising a wide array of healing techniques. Early in his career, he worked with numerous outstanding athletes in England, enhancing their sports performance and recovery.
The primary technique used is the specific chiropractic adjustment to the spine, pelvis, and extremities because of their profound impact on the body’s proprioceptive abilities, simply put this is how we sense the position, location, orientation, and movement of the body and its parts. This awareness is crucial for coordinating movements and maintaining balance and posture.
To enhance the effectiveness of these adjustments, he incorporates principles from functional neurology, trigger point therapy, acupressure points, and Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.), catering to student athletes and others facing the physical demands of university life. His techniques are equally effective for high-level athletes and in addressing the stressors of prolonged study sessions and tech use. Playing rugby in the past and tackling eight years of university education, Dr. Milton is intimately familiar with these challenges.
Addressing common postural issues is a central goal, as a well-aligned body enhances overall energy, mental state, sleep quality, and concentration by alleviating stress, stiffness, and tension.
Embracing the philosophy that “Health is the greatest wealth,” Dr. Milton invites university students, staff, and members of the community to embark on a journey toward sustained good health. Having personally overcome many common ailments seen in clinical practice, he offers a relatable and engaging perspective on wellness.
